General Provisions as to Privacy
We recognize that privacy is important. We collect certain private details in the process of inviting investors to join as Subscribing Members and providing reports to those Members and to their specified authorized professional advisers. The purpose of the Invespectra process is to share statistical comparisons only in rankings.
All personal or profile data is kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties unless authorized by the Subscribing Member or as may be required by law. Each Report is addressed to that Subscribing Member. The Member may have authorized that a copy of the Report be supplied to their professional adviser.
Invespectra Ranking Reports will supply ranking data showing names of investment advisers and the company provider.
Investment Advisers will be identified by a code number, their Firm or Employer name, and the name of the regulated professional Investment Adviser. Readers of the Invespectra Report should not make assumptions from the mere existence of a number without the name of an Investment Adviser. The reason may be that Invespectra has not yet processed that information. The Invespectra Reports are solely for the addressed Subscribing Member and their professional adviser if so specified and authorized by the Subscribing member.
All reports issued by Invespectra are private and confidential to the addressee. No recipient is permitted to copy such reports in whole or in part in any way for incidentally or deliberately passing on to third parties. Disclosure to third parties is a breach of copyright and may also be an offence.
Invespectra is the sole owner of the data information collected on our Web Site or received from Subscribing Members or their professional advisers though other means including email.
Invespectra reserves the right to contact the Subscribing Member or their professional adviser about services provided by Invespectra Group.
You may be required to register to access certain pages of the Invespectra Web Site, with mandatory completion of fields dependent upon the content being accessed. General contact information and preferences you provide will be retained as part of your specific record.
By subscribing or by entering private details, the user undertakes to assist prevention of reports being used for other purposes especially for disclosure to other parties whether or not personal data has been erased or hidden by any method.
We may provide links to other web-sites. We can not be responsible for the privacy issues in respect of those other web-sites. We recommend that users check those other web-site privacy policies. This privacy statement applies only to information collected by Invespectra.
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. Persistent cookies installed by Invespectra are small and should not interfere with user’s own usage of their computer systems. By setting a cookie on the Web Site, users do not have to log in every time they visit, thereby saving time while on the Web Site. If users reject the cookie, they may still use the Web Site. The only drawback to this is that the user will be limited in some areas of the Web Site unless they re-login.
For more information on cookies and how you can manage cookie settings, please consult these sites according to the browser you are using: Microsoft Internet Browser; Mozilla Firefox; Apple Safari; Google Chrome.
Invespectra uses electronic systems for efficiency. All information is required from the user on forms provided for on-line processing. A user must provide contact information (such as name, email, and an address for verifying correct addressee.). This information is used for billing purposes and to supply Ranking Reports to the correct addressees. If we have any problem processing a Ranking Report or with any other Invespectra process related to that Member, the information is used to contact the Member or more likely their Professional Adviser.
Non-personal information is collected to track the total number of guests visiting the Invespectra Web Site and to guide efforts to improve the Invespectra Web Site. This information is used exclusively for internal purposes and is not disclosed to any third parties except contracted suppliers who are also bound by a Code of Business Ethics and / or a confidentiality requirement.
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
We take every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the Invespectra Web Site, their information is protected both online and off-line. Internal security provides that this information is coded with restricted access, and the servers used by Invespectra are kept in a secure, locked environment that limits access to authorized personnel only.
The Invespectra Web Site is regularly tested for potential security breaches to ensure that all information collected is secure from unauthorized viewing.
In due course new services may be added which may include contact with Subscribing Members. These new services may include arrangements with other financial service providers and may result in advertisements in communications to Subscribers.
The Invespectra Web Site may provide a number of areas for providing us with feedback. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and address), and demographic information. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.
We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account we reply via email or phone, in accordance with the user's wishes. Most responses will be channeled through professional advisers.
Our users are given the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having their information used for purposes not directly related to the Web Site at the point where we ask for information. For example, our Subscription Form has an 'opt-out' mechanism so users who become Subscribing Members, but don't want any other information material, can keep their email address off of our further information lists.
Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter and communications may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying to unsubscribe in the subject line in the email or email us.
Users of the Web Site are always notified when their information is being collected by, or shared with, any outside parties [other than those sub-contracted to supply the requested Invespectra Services]. We do this so our users can make an informed choice as to whether or not they should proceed with services that require an outside party. Those outside parties are contracted also to respect privacy and not use data for any other purposes.
Updating Personal Information
Generally each communication with a Subscribing Member or other user will repeat all personal data and address information to allow the party to up-date such information. If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as post code, phone, email or postal address), or professional adviser, or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users' personally identifiable information. However the contract with Subscribing Members is ongoing so we will contact Subscribing Members to inform the Member of the good purpose and benefits from continuing Membership. Termination can be effected by logging on to the Members Page or by emailing us.
If we receive a formal written complaint from a Subscribing Member, Invespectra will contact the complaining user regarding his or her concerns. Invespectra will cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that cannot be resolved between Invespectra and a Subscribing Member or other user.
If users wish to contact us by post, please use the contact address shown in the Contact Us tab.
If you request technical support online, we will ask you for information necessary to complete the response such as your name, email address and information about your computer hardware, software, and the nature of the problem you are experiencing.
